Shannon's Stitches & Gifts

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  My name is Shannon.  My family and I live in the Inman area of South Carolina.  My Mom taught me to crochet when I was a little girl.  It wasn't until I was an adult and married that I learned to read from patterns and to make more creative projects.  I loved making gifts for my family and friends.  My Mom always encouraged me to do more with my hobby, but working full time  I was never able to.  Soon after our first son turned two I started a career in child care.  I loved it, working with children was truly my gift and it was so rewarding.  I still loved to crochet in my spare time, but there was little of that.  My oldest son is now in college and we also have two other boys, 14 and 8. 

For the past couple of years I have suffered from migraine headaches and have been unable to continue working in child care.  However, when God closes one door, He always opens another, and I have been able to do more crocheting.  Crocheting can also be very relaxing.   I still love making gifts, but after lots of prayers and support from my family and friends, I have finally decided to start my own business.  Shannon's Stitches & Gifts.  My Mom passed away several years ago, but I think she would have been proud.

Please be patient with me as I add new photos.  Having an internet business is all new to me, but I will get the hang of things.  My best friend loves the things that I make for her, and I hope that you will find something that you fall in love with.  I would love to hear your input, so please stop by my Contact Us page and let me know what you think, good or bad.  I look forward to hearing from you.
